I have been in the hospital for 10 days now after my second operation on my knee joint. For the first 5 days I was in the clinic where the operation took place and since Tuesday last week I have been in rehab. After two operations on both knees, I now have to learn to walk again. And you can't imagine the stress I had leading up to the rehab. I'm single with 2 pets. Before the operation, I couldn't even imagine going into rehab because it was unthinkable for me to leave the cats “alone” for such a long period of time
By alone means that someone comes to feed them in the morning and evening, but they actually spend the rest of the time alone. Unthinkable, since they are used to people and seek their closeness just as humans seek them. But then, shortly after the operation, my godchild (Göttibueb), now 19, contacted me and asked if I needed support. And after I described my cat dilemma, he agreed to live in my apartment and ensure the care of the animals. But that's not all, I suddenly notice that I am supported in this situation by my network of relationships and that people are there to support me. The mother of another godchild, now 21, picks up my laundry from the hospital to wash it and my godchild (Göttimaidle) brings me the clean laundry back to the hospital after 2 days. And then God goes one better. After I arrive at the rehab, I get a roommate who becomes a very valuable counterpart to me thanks to his positive attitude to life. Emil 79, a humorous, positive man. I feel blessed with acceptance and friendship from my godchildren and their families. And I notice that all my initial worries have vanished into thin air.
This is how the almighty and loving God takes care of his people!
Therefore……
Trust in the Lord!
